CASE STUDY
DESIGN BRIEF
Main Objective: Design a compelling book cover for Playwrights Canada Press that captures Peter N. Bailey’s tight one-act play. The design evokes a night out in Toronto while exploring the intersection of Black male friendship, the pressures of masculinity, and mental health. Target Audience: University theatre students, play readers, contemporary Canadian literature enthusiasts, and production directors. Brand Positioning: A visual exploration of two souls in limbo—capturing a delicate balance between psychological tension, vulnerability, and an ending that dares to be both tragic and hopeful.
